The original Monmouth showroom and offices have successfully served their purpose for over 10 years; although due to the company's expansion have now become out-grown.This summer Mandarin Stone has opened a brand new showroom with adjoining offices, just across the road from the old one. The new showroom boasts over 100 square metres of tiled floors together with large, stylish steel framed displays of beautiful stones. In fact it feels more like a modern art gallery than a stone showroom!

Stone counter tops and basins are displayed, alongside shower and wet room areas demonstrating the endless possibilities of stone. It’s even worth taking a trip to the toilet to see the impressive grey limestone tiled floor to ceiling! With the showroom being conveniently located next to the extensive warehousing, Mandarin Stone's 'discontinued' and 'one-off' lines are always available for viewing, for those looking for a real bargain. Furthermore Mandarin Stone's experienced staff can offer expert advice on fixing and sealing, together with guidance on the design aspects of your project.

Alma Small is the owner and managing director of Mandarin Stone, one of the largest importers and stockists of natural stone tiles in the UK, with showrooms in Monmouth, Bath, Cardiff, Cheltenham and Exeter... Here she chats exclusively to Ladies First about her experiences in business, family life and her love of natural stone.

Mandarin Stone's most recent showroom is located in Exeter and is the furthest showroom south-west for the company yet. Spread over two levels the showroom boasts over 200m2 of tiled floors together with large, stylish steel framed displays of beautiful stone. In fact it feels more like a modern art gallery than a tile showroom!

Mandarin Stone offer an exciting collection of 'polished' stones in a vivid array of shades. As creams and beiges are beginning to look a little tired, these dramatic stones will create a striking and glamorous feel to any wetroom or bathroom.

Mandarin Stone now offer an inspiring range of 'Cobbles & Flags'. This includes quaint limestone cobbles to the larger format flagstones in limestone, slate, travertine, sandstone and basalt.

Mandarin Stone have introduced a range of 'waxed' natural stone mosaics in four different colours.The Italian method of 'waxing' achieves a sophisticated silky satin appearance to the stone.
